SOLID RACKS was founded on Sydney's Northern Beaches by Trevor & Nicolle Drake of Wood Appeal Pty Ltd.
Wood Appeal is a multi Award Winning Custom Joinery and Design Company that has been established for 25 years and is Australian Family Owned and Operated.
When Trevor & Nicolle moved their family to Manly Beach 10 years ago, they purchased their son Christopher his first surfboard.
Developing a SOLID passion for surfing Chris had soon acquired another 5 boards. A lack of space in his small bedroom together with continual damage to his precious quiver began the realisation that a storage system was desperately needed.
SOLID RACKS were initially designed and manufactured exclusively by Trevor & Nicolle for their son however, when Chris was sponsored by O'Neill Australia he decided to give a set to Rob Bain as a thankyou. Rob and the team at O'Neill were stoked, and so SOLID RACKS was born.
At SOLID we keep an open mind, with high aspirations for future development. We are constantly inventing new products and storage solutions for your valuable equipment and we will continue to strive to meet our consumers' needs.
The environment is of key concern to the team at SOLID, after all we wouldn't be designing and building racks for many different sports without Mother Nature giving us the platform for these activities to be performed. SOLID is consistently thinking toward the future and hence utilises initiatives such as recycling and environmentally friendly materials wherever possible.
